On April 22, another meeting of the Astrophysics Forum took place. A significant number of new participants joined the initiative, including representatives from other divisions of the Institute, which we are very pleased to see, as it reflects growing interest in collaboration.

During the meeting, organizational matters were discussed. This was followed by a very engaging talk on neutrinos presented by Shreya Sharma, which sparked an interesting and lively discussion.

We are very happy to see the initiative developing dynamically and reaching an ever wider community!

Our first organizational meeting of this year has successfully taken place. It gathered a total of twelve participants – most attending in person, with some joining remotely.

It was a highly productive session, setting a very positive tone for the months ahead. One of the most valuable aspects of the meeting was the opportunity to get to know each other better through discussions of various astrophysics projects and research activities in which we are involved at IFJ.

We also managed to address several important organizational matters, allowing us to move forward with strong momentum. We are excited about what’s ahead!

We’re happy to launch the Astrophysics Forum of IFJ PAN: a new space bringing together researchers working in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Our Forum is all about sharing knowledge, connecting across departments, and building a stronger, more collaborative community at IFJ PAN. Stay tuned for seminars, discussions, and more conversations ahead!
